Mongols Ex-Leader Pleads Guilty to Racketeering, Faces 20 Years in Prison

Ruben "Doc" Cavazos, the former Mongols motorcycle gang leader indicted with 78 others last year for allegedly ordering murders, extortion, drug trafficking, and attacks on gang opponents, has pleaded guilty to a count of racketeering that could send him to prison for 20 years.

61 Mongols Motorcycle Gang Members Arrested on Racketeering Charges

Dozens of burly, tattoo-covered Mongol motorcycle gang members were arrested today by federal agents in six states from the West Coast to the Midwest on warrants ranging from drug sales to murder after a three-year undercover investigation in which four agents successfully infiltrated the group.

Suspect in Murder of SF Hells Angels Leader Surrenders in Oklahoma

The man would not say why he was wanted. But the Bartlesville police were quickly able to establish that he was Christopher Ablett, 37, an alleged member of the Mongols Motorcycle Club sought in San Francisco on charges that he killed Mark "Papa" Guardado, the head of the Hells Angels' "Frisco" chapter.
