Ohio Officer Saves Teen from Drowning

Saturday evening, Officer Jim Ennemoser heard an emergency call for the fire department over the scanner, and decided to head to the river himself. "I was coming down the path right here, I could hear people yelling to the people in the water to try and make it to shore," Ennemoser said, while pointing to the spot of the incident.

L.A. County To Pay Nearly $5 Million In Deputy's Crash

Deputy Robert Moran, who is still employed and on patrol, was convicted of drunk driving and sentenced to six months in jail. During the June 29, 2008 incident, Deputy Moran was drunk and allegedly speeding when he collided with a smaller car, seriously injuring the other driver.

The incident began with a 911 call of a man beating a woman in a parking lot. When officers responded, Leon Roy Jones ran into his apartment, grabbed a sword and began advancing on the officers. He was shot three times.

Florida Man Strikes Two Officers with Vehicle

The incident began at about 11 p.m. Saturday, when the officers observed Justin Bradley, 25, smoking a blunt (cannabis cigarette) in his car. Officer Carraway was attempting to retrieve the keys from Bradley when the driver apparently rolled over the officer's foot. Sgt. Towler then attempted to block Bradley's escape with his patrol vehicle; a head-on collision injured both men.
