The wave of protests following the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley is reportedly costing St. Louis about $2,900,000 in police overtime. But St. Louis Police Officers' Association President Ed Clark said there is an emotional toll as well.

Wounds That Never Heal

I asked about the suspect, and they told me they last observed him getting off of the elevator on the third floor. I notified dispatch and I headed to the third floor. The smart thing to do would have been to wait on my backup. But I was a rookie.
