Safariland Introduces Extended Range Less-Lethal Munitions

Safariland has released five 40-mm, specialty impact rounds that allow corrections and tactical officers to deliver less-lethal munitions to incapacitate an aggressive, non-compliant subject. The Defense Technology rounds can be fired from a variety of 40-mm launchers and provide optimal accuracy from 10–70 meters (about 30–230 feet).

Meggitt Awarded $5.4 Million Training Systems Upgrade

Meggitt Training Systems (MTS) has won a contract worth approximately $5.4 million from the US Army National Guard (ARNG) to continue upgrading its virtual small-arms training program. The ARNG will purchase new weapon simulators ranging from M9 pistols to MK19 grenade launchers. Deliveries begin March 2010.
