Ky. Department Shifts To Dodge Chargers

The Hazard (Ky.) Police Department is replacing its Ford Crown Victoria fleet with Dodge Chargers, beginning with the purchase of five vehicles. Sgt. Paul Campbell told the newspaper that the department chose the Charger because of its fuel economy and speed.

Washington State Patrol Replacing Crown Vics With Caprice PPV

The Washington State Patrol has begun the process of replacing 650 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors with the Chevrolet Caprice PPV. The agency has just begun the process and currently has five Caprice PPV sedans in the fleet.

Fla. Sheriff Buys Ford Police Interceptor Sedans

The Marion County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office has received the first vehicle in an initial delivery of 36 new Ford Police Interceptor sedans equipped with 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engines. The sheriff's office stated it is receiving four to five new Police Interceptors each week and will have 60 to 70 new vehicles within a few months.
