Three Kern County (Calif.) Sheriff's Deputies shot and killed a woman after she allegedly pointed a BB gun at them. Officers contated the woman who was standing on a rock pile throwning rocks. When she pointed a BB gun made to look like a real semi-auto handgun at them, they opened fire, killing her.

A Harris County (Tx.) Sheriff’s Deputy was hit by a suspected drug dealer after pulling up to two cars parked at the end of the street. One of the drivers suddenly took off and hit the deputy knocking him down. As the car was coming toward the deputy, he started shooting. The driver was arrested a short time later. The deputy was taken to the hospital in stable condition with some minor contusions and scrapes.
