Omaha Police Want Overtime Pay

The new union contract reduces the amount of overtime time police can "bank" — and not immediately be paid for — from 360 hours to 108 hours. That time can be cashed out at any point or used as extra vacation time. Under the new contract, officers with more than 108 hours "banked" will have to cash out the extra hours.
