JW Fishers Mfg. has released a new underwater metal detector for 2017. The SAR-1 Search and Recovery was designed for use by government agencies to locate metal objects in poor visibility underwater environments from up to 5 feet. The SAR-1 alerts the operator to the presence of metal by vibration which is transmitted through the handle and LED display. The SAR-1 rechargeable batteries power the detector for up to 12 hours.
