Harley-Davidson launched an all-new Big Twin powertrain for the 2007 FLHTP Electra-Glide and FLHP Road King law enforcement motorcycles when the Twin Cam 103 Police engine and 6-speed Cruise Drive were introduced. This new engine, which is only available on law enforcement models, comes standard with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI). It offers a 17-percent increase in displacement and up to a 23-percent increase in torque over the Twin Cam 88 engine it replaces, and features a number of design enhancements, making it more powerful, reliable, and smoother. The two law enforcement motorcycles also offer optional ABS brake systems.
