The Leightning model, named for sister company Howard Leight, is now available in a convenient folding model or with a special neckband for use when wearing protective gear, such as a mask. The muffs also feature modern stereo headset-styled earcups for long-wearing comfort and steel wire headbands.
Thunder earmuffs provide protection and comfort when dielectric construction is preferred. They are made of tough, non-deformable plastic.
All of Bilsom’s earmuffs now also utilize parent company Bacou-Dalloz’s newly patented Air Flow Control (AFC) technology. AFC gives the earmuffs increased noise-reduction ratings and a more consistent lessening of damaging noise across all octave bands, but especially in low frequencies.
In addition, snap-in ear cushions make replacing soiled or damaged cushions easy. This innovation provides more comfort and promotes good hygiene.
