Kenwood's latest NexEdge high power mobiles, the NX-720/820HGK, have GPS as a standard feature as well as a bright backlit 10-character display for clear message displays in any lighting conditions and 10 programmable function keys to allow mobiles to be easily customized for fleet use. Built on the reliable TK-360 Series platform, the new mobiles feature full NexEdge performance and support full analog conventional, LTR conventional, and NXDN conventional, trunked and trunked IP network operations.

With the TN9400 network at its heart, Tait's Phase 2 solution provides both 12.5kHz P25 Phase 1 FDMA operation and a software upgrade path to 6.25kHz-equivalent P25 Phase 2 TDMA compliance. This means customers can control their transition to a more spectrally efficient solution with greater capacity. The solution includes the TB9400 base station, Tait’s second-generation P25 base station with IP connectivity; the TP9400, a small P25 Phase 2-capable portable with internal GPS, Bluetooth wireless technology, IP67 protection, and AES encryption; and the IP54-rated TM9400, which is capable of AES encryption, over-the-air re-keying, and variou

The Pryme SPM-2200 Series Trooper II is a weatherized remote speaker microphone for two-way radios. Its high-impact housing is sealed against both dust and liquid and meets both IP56 and MIL-STD 810 ratings for water resistance and durability. It uses a military-grade cable with a tough polymer jacket on the outside and Kevlar reinforcement inside. The Trooper II has a loud speaker, a strong clothing clip, a noise-cancelling microphone for clear transmissions, and an earphone jack for private listening. The microphone is available to fit many portable radios including Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, Harris, and others.

The latest XG-25P portable radio from Harris Corp. delivers a mission-critical feature set and interoperable communications for users operating on 700 and 800 MHz frequencies. Its software-defined architecture allows for operation in multiple modes, including P25 Phase 1, P25 Phase 2, EDACS and OpenSky2. The Harris XG-25P also delivers exceptional audio clarity because of its over-sized speaker and AMBE+2 Vocoder, and includes Bluetooth wireless connectivity and AES encryption. The radio weighs less than 15 ounces, and its rugged design meets MIL-STD-810G standards for shock and vibration, dust, rain, solar radiation, low pressure and temperature ex

Motorola Solutions' APX 7000 multi-band (700/800 MHz and VHF) portable radio is designed specifically for first responders, enabling instant multi-agency interoperability. The Project 25 radio communicates with FDMA and TDMA networks and has integrated GPS. The dual-sided portable has both an audio and data side, providing optimal functionality and loud and clear audio in a compact rugged form factor. APX 7000 has text messaging, intelligent lighting, user-controlled radio profiles, and a slip-free T-Grip form factor with raised slanted knobs and buttons.

Smarter engineering makes EFJohnson's Viking VP600 portable radio a reliable option that is easy to operate. In response to user feedback, this rugged radio provides communication in even the most hazardous environments. With P25 Phase 2 capabilities, excellent audio, and advanced visual features, the Viking VP600 is a value-packed, high-quality option for first responders.

Anritsu delivers the close-in phase noise performance needed to characterize 6.25 kHz LMR systems at an affordable price. You no longer need an expensive high-end spectrum analyzer to measure the out-of-band emission or adjacent channel power ratio for your narrowbanding needs. The MS2830A signal analyzer supports the same level of close-in phase noise capability as high-end models. Anritsu Company has also introduced three software packages supporting LTE-Advanced and five packages supporting IEEE802.11ac that extend the analysis capability of its MS269xA/MS2830A signal analyzers.

BatteryJack is manufacturing a replacement battery for the Hytera PD780/782 series digital DMR radios. The battery also fits the Harris HDP100 and HDP150 radios. The battery manufacturer will produce the Li-ION battery with a high quality 2000mAH Japanese cell. The light Li-ION battery will increase runtime by about 40% versus a similar analog radio. The BL2006Li battery is a direct replacement for the OEM part number BL2006 and will work with all OEM equipment. The battery will also be warranted for 18 months.
