Tuff-Writer's Frontline tactical pens are precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard-anodized to MIL-A-8625 "F" standards to provide maximum durability. The pens utilize a pressurized cartridge made by Fisher that writes at any angle, even upside down. The pens are designed with a screw-on cap so when the pen is closed, it can function as a one-piece self-defense tool. A steel clip is attached with hardened bolts and chemically bonded to the pen.

National Park Service Ranger Kevin Grossheim died Sunday while trying to rescue a family in distress on a Minnesota lake. His boat capsized in rough waters. The family was rescued but Grossheim drowned.
