XCAT

Fielded since March 2013, the XCAT Explosives, Narcotics, and Gunshot Residue Detection System now detects peroxides in addition to nitrates, nitramines, and nitroaromatics. The XCAT utilizes simple swipes to obtain a sample and provides users a red light/green light result. Made to be affordable, rugged, and easy to use, the XCAT samples hands, vehicles, bags, and surfaces for trace explosives.
