Darby & Son and Mobile Defense Systems (MDS) is a free-standing, hands-free, energy-absorbing barrier that provides a defensive separation between police and crowds and provides officers protection from projectiles. It measures 8 feet high by 6 feet wide and can be modified to create portals by cutting and shifting, or removing plastic inserts. Various configurations can be developed for users' individual preference for observation or for counter-measure delivery.
