Rescue Essentials has released a new addition to its QuikLitter line of soft litters, the QuikLitter XL. The QuikLitter XL is larger, at 80" x 40", has 14 grab handles, and features a maximum load rating of 1,000 pounds. Two integrated patient retention straps help to secure the patient in the litter when transporting over uneven surfaces. The Quiklitter XL comes folded in an 8" x 11" x 4" package and weighs 2.2 pounds.

St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson said on a Facebook livestream the facility was a 10,000 square-foot vehicle storage facility that was destroyed in a matter of seconds by what he called a "devastating tornado."
