To further educate individuals in law enforcement, legal, and medical professions about the particulars of medical forensics, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ASHS) is offering a premier online medical forensics course available nationwide. The university is currently accepting registration for fall classes.
A.T. Still University is recognized for its residential and online health professions courses. The medical forensics course is offered by ASHS’ Advanced Physician Assistant Studies program. Medical Forensics (APA 644) introduces participants to basic aspects of forensic medicine. The 12-week course begins Aug. 28 and is a four-credit, non-degree college course. The course may also be used to satisfy one of the requirements to sit for certification for the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigation Registry Exam and will be offered during Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions beginning in Fall 2006. The coursework is self-paced covering many different areas of forensic medicine.
