5.11 Tactical has introduced its next generation of ATAC and TPT tactical lights that will be available in May, according to the company.

The ATAC line extension includes two new rechargeable lights while the TPT line adds three new polymer-body torches. These tactical lights provide the construction and durability found in the first generation lights while delivering increased levels of functionality, quality, and innovation, according to 5.11.

"Considering lumen output, drop test durability, run-time and price, these lights are the most innovative and cost-effective torches on the market," said Tom Davin, CEO of 5.11 Tactical, in a statement. "Once you discover how reliable, lightweight, and portable they are, you'll want to have the full line to outfit your duty belt, glove box, emergency kit, and garage. These flashlights deliver lighting that exceeds the specific needs of law enforcement, firefighters, and all our customers that require reliable, high-quality light."

The five new lights offer aerospace aluminum construction with a molded rubber. An anti-roll ring keeps the flashlight in place on uneven surfaces.

The ATAC R1 is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. Charger is AC/DC compatible. It measures 5.9 inches long and 1.2 inches in diameter. It retails for $139.99.

The ATAC R3MC is a multiple-colored tactical light with red and blue LEDs to maintain night vision and added functionality. The light uses a rechargeable lithium ion18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. The charger is AC/DC compatible. It measures 6.2 inches long and 1.2 inches in diameter. The light retails for $159.99.

The TPT line employs a polymer body that's crafted with a high-impact molded ABS+PC body and a light textured, slip-resistant finish.

The TPT L2 is the first in the line of polymer flashlights and uses two CR123A batteries. It measures 5.1 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. It retails for $54.99.

The TPT R5 is a rechargeable mid-size duty light torch using Sub–C NiMH or six AAA batteries. It measures 9 inches long and 1.4 inches in diameter. The charger is AC/DC compatible. It retails for $139.99.

The TPT R7 is a full-size, rechargeable duty light using full D NiMH or three D-Cell batteries. Measures 12.2 inches long and 1.8 inches in diameter. The charger is AC/DC compatible. It retails for $169.99.

All flashlights have top quality Cree LEDs and include a silent "momentary on" switch function, as well as "steady on" in three modes—high, low, and strobe.
