A remorseless defendant who nearly killed a Danvers (Mass.) Police patrolman in a knife attack was sentenced to 24 to 26 years in state prison by a judge who called him "a menace to society."
Roy Limbaugh, 59, was convicted Thursday. Limbaugh had mocked Patrolman John Melto and said, "This conviction right now is void," during a 20-minute lecture to the judge.
