Authorities have arrested a Rhode Island man they believe is connected to an alleged terrorism plot that has been unraveling in Boston since the fatal shooting of a man there last week, reports Newsweek.

Nicholas Rovinski, 24, of Warwick is accused of being the third man involved in the plot, the Associated Press reported. He is expected to appear in court on Friday afternoon.

Last week, Boston police fatally shot Usaamah Rahim after he brandished a large military knife in a CVS parking lot and refused to retreat upon officers' requests. Later that night, authorities arrested David Wright in the nearby suburb of Everett. They have accused him of planning, along with Rahim, to kill police officers.

Rahim and Wright allegedly met with Rovinski on a beach in Rhode Island to discuss their supposed plan.

Rovinski has been charged with conspiracy to support ISIS, federal authorities announced today, reports ABC News.
