VIDEO: New Images of Suspects in Attack on Philadelphia School Officers
Police have released new images of three suspects wanted in the assault of school officers in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police have released new images of three suspects wanted in the assault of school officers in Northeast Philadelphia, reports WPVI.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Monday on a street corner as two school police officers were escorting Northeast High School students after dismissal.

The officers noticed two adults assaulting a student. The officers separated the student and the adults to stop the assault.
Police say an argument ensued between the school officers and the adults. One of the adults then pushed and shoved the officers. The officers began defending themselves, and a total of three adults assaulted the officers.
When it ended, the males ran away and the officers were left in need of medical assistance.

One officer suffered a broken jaw and lost some teeth; the other officer had some bruising after reportedly being punched in the face and pushed to the ground.
On Tuesday night, Philadelphia police released the cell phone video of the incident.

"It's very disturbing; you have adults that are not only about to assault students, but they also get into a fight with our school police officers," School District of Philadelphia spokesman Fernando Gallard said.
The district says neither officer was armed.
