A 58-year-old Pennsylvania state trooper died of an apparent medical episode over the weekend.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Trooper Donald Brackett was reportedly found unresponsive next to his patrol vehicle.
Brackett was an 18-year veteran of the agency and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf on Sunday ordered the Pennsylvania state flag to be flown at half-staff.
The cause of death has not yet been released.
