Officers with the San Leandro (CA) Police Department arrested an Oakland man on suspicion of impersonating a police officer on multiple occasions.

According to CBS News, the suspect—identified as 20-year-old Sergio Taylor—was taken into custody at a local festival after officers recognized him from an alert sent out last month

Taylor was reportedly in an imitation police uniform with a complete duty belt—including a gun, extra ammunition, and an ECD—and K-9 in tow.

The subject reportedly attempted to drive away in a car marked to look like a patrol vehicle but officers were able to stop the man and take him into custody.
