Two motorcycle gangs involved in a deadly gunfight at a Texas chain restaurant in 2015 have reportedly made "credible" threats against police officers.
According to KWTX-TV, a classified memo was distributed to law enforcement agencies in the area indicating that some members of the Bandidos and Outlaws motorcycle groups—both listed by the FBI as Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMGs)—had attempted to hire Bolivian nationals to carry out three "hits" on officers.
One assassination was to take place in Florida while the other two were planned to occur in Texas.
In the 2015 melee at the chain restaurant in Waco, nine people were killed and many others wounded when two rival gangs—the Bandidos and the Cossacks—got into a fight that ended in gunfire.
A total of 177 bikers were arrested but none were ever convicted of a single crime in connection with the shootout.
