A man was found not guilty Wednesday of attempted capital murder of an officer with the Charlottesville (VA) Police Department, but was convicted of six other charges.
According to the Daily Progress, the man—identified as 29-year-old Timothy Lamont Miles—had been charged with attempted capital murder in the shooting of Charlottesville Police Corporal Chris Huber in 2018.
According to testimony, Miles had a blood-alcohol content of approximately .22 at the time of the incident.
