He is survived by his mother, father, and sister.

"Jason’s sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
Raynor was
shot in the head
during contact with a man sitting in a parked vehicle on the evening of June 23.
The suspect Othal Wallace fled the scene. He was the subject of a multi-state manhunt and surrendered to law enforcement outside of Atlanta days after the shooting.
Wallace now faces a charge of first-degree murder. The
Daytona Beach News Journal
reports that the State Attorney's Office indicated in an email that they will seek the death penalty in the case.
