GA Officers Kick in Door, Rescue Man from Burning Home

Several officers pulled the man out. It's unclear if the man was conscious at the time, but officials said they treated the man until the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department and paramedics arrived.

Officers with the Dunwoody (GA) Police Department rushed into a burning home Sunday to rescue a man trapped inside. One of the officers had to kick in the door so they could gain entry. 

Police received the call at 3:46 a.m. on Sunday, Fox 5 reports.

They found a woman, who apparently locked herself out, and went to the door to find a man apparently trapped.
