Anti-police violence erupted in Lancaster, PA, Sunday night after a Lancaster officer shot and killed a man with a knife during a domestic disturbance.
Police said 27-year-old Ricardo Munoz was reportedly becoming aggressive with his mother and trying to break into her house, Lancaster Online reports.

Several officers arrived at 4:24 p.m., and the first officer walked to the front of the residence and made contact with one of Munoz's family members. Munoz then emerged from the residence and began chasing an officer, according to the release.

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets Sunday night. The crowd massed at the shooting site and then went to the police station chanting, “Hands up, don’t shoot,” “No justice, no peace” and "What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? Now!”
Glass bottles, gallon jugs filled with liquid, parts of plastic road barricades and more had been thrown at officers, police said.
Police said buildings and government vehicles were damaged in the mayhem. Chemical munitions were used after the crowd had been given several warnings to disperse, Yahoo reports.
