A jury in Westmoreland County, PA, has determined that Rahmael Holt is guilty on all counts in the murder of Officer Brian Shaw of the New Kensington Police Department during an attempted traffic stop in 2017.
According to TribLive.com , Holt was a passenger in a vehicle driven by another subject who had reportedly sold illegal narcotics to Shaw earlier in the day. When Shaw attempted to make the stop, Holt exited the vehicle and fled on foot. As Shaw began a foot pursuit, Holt opened fire, fatally wounding the officer.
