New York City Muslim groups are calling for the resignations of New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and a deputy commissioner over the screening of an "inflammatory" stealth-jihad film.

Commissioner Kelly appeared in "The Third Jihad: Radical Islam's Vision for America," but called it inflammatory on Wednesday. The film was shown to about 1,500 officers at a Brooklyn police facility a year ago.

During his segment of the film, Kelly discusses the presence of Iranian intelligence agents and Hezbollah representatives in New York City. Kelly's segment can be viewed on The Third Jihad website.

The film also questions Muslim groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), who present moderate views and stop short of condeming terrorist organizations.

The film also includes interviews with former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, former CIA Director James Woolsey, and former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge.

According to the film, there were three jihads: One at the time of Muhammad, a second in the Middle Ages and a third that is under way covertly throughout the West today, reports the New York Times.

Commissioner Kelly said he has disciplined the sergeant who screened the film for other officers, because she didn't obtain authorization, reports the New York Daily News.

The film was produced by the Clarion Fund, which produces and distributes films about "the threat of radical Islam."
