Supporters who are unable to participate in the Run for the Badge events are encouraged to volunteer for the event. Run for the Badge relies on more than 50 volunteers to help staff water stations and support our course marshals. The Run for the Badge benefits the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, which works to tell the story of American law enforcement and make it safer for those who serve. The Memorial Fund is currently building the National Law Enforcement Museum across the street from the Memorial. Participants and spectators will get to see construction progress from the 5K course.
