"The Run for the Badge is a great opportunity to show support for America's peace officers and thank them for all they do to keep our families and neighborhoods safe," said Craig W. Floyd, President & CEO of the Memorial Fund. "This year, our event is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial."
The Run for the Badge benefits the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, which works to tell the story of American law enforcement and make it safer for those who serve. The Memorial Fund is currently building the National Law Enforcement Museum across the street from the Memorial. Participants and spectators will get to see construction progress from the 5K course.
