A Westampton, N.J., police officer is being credited with saving a man's life, after township police said Thursday Ptl. Andrew Einstein performed life-saving CPR on a man in cardiac arrest on May 7.
In a post to their Facebook page, police said Einstein was the first to arrive at a home in the Rolling Hills development around 11 p.m. Einstein, a certified EMT, immediately got to work performing CPR until medical professionals arrived. Following a shock from an automated external defibrillator, the man's pulse was revived and he was transported to Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. The man survived, NJ.com reports.
