GA Deputy Kills Suspect in Gunfight After High-Speed Chase

A Crawford County, GA, sheriff’s deputy returned fire, striking and killing a suspect following a high-speed chase Monday night, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Jamie Lamar Darley, 33, had reportedly been involved in a domestic incident. He fled the residence before deputies arrived, officials say.
His truck was spotted by deputies who tried to get him to pull over.
A pursuit ensued with speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour. The pursuit came to a halt in the yard of the same residence where the domestic incident was reported, Macon.com reports.
