The Folds of Honor scholarship program is designed to honor the extraordinary sacrifices made by military and first responder families by helping ensure access to quality education. Scholarships support students from early education through postsecondary studies, easing the financial burden for families who have given so much in service to others.

Eligible applicants include the children and spouses of U.S. service members and first responders who have fallen or become disabled in the line of duty.

“Honoring the families of our nation’s military members and first responders is a responsibility we all share,” said Sarah Elliott, senior director of impact for Folds of Honor North Texas. “At Folds of Honor, we are committed to standing beside these families by helping ensure access to education, creating lasting opportunities that honor their sacrifice and service.”

Folds of Honor North Texas raised $4.6 million at its 2025 gala to fund educational scholarships for the spouses and dependents of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. In recent years, the organization has expanded its mission to include the families of fallen and disabled first responders, broadening its commitment to honor those who serve and protect our country and communities.
