A senior Fargo police officer who was wounded during a July 14 ambush that killed a fellow officer has a long road to recovery, but says he can’t wait to be back on duty.
Officer Andrew Dotas, a field training officers who was wounded in the attack that killed rookie Officer Jake Wallin, was released from the hospital in August and is now recovering at home. Also wounded in the attack were Dotas’ trainee Officer Tyler Hawes.
