Carfax for Police and Fusus Partner on Easy-to-Use Interface

By including a direct link to Carfax for Police from the Fusus dashboard, investigators can make more informed decisions and act quickly, which is critical in the fight against crime.

Fusus has partnered with Carfax for Police to give law enforcement agencies fast access to the Carfax database of 30 billion vehicle records. This collaboration will allow law enforcement agencies to access their Carfax for Police account with the simple click of a button.

Carfax for Police currently has more than 100,000 users at more than 5,400 partner agencies. It offers a number of investigation tools, including:

·        * Vehicle History Reports (VHR): A search tool for vehicle history that tracks location, crash data, and service records.

·         * Partial License Plate Search: Locate vehicles of interest using only three plate characters. 

·         * VIN Alerts: Set an alert to get an instant notification when new information is obtained on that vehicle. 

·         * High Mileage Alerts: Identify cars with altered VINs, as well as those involved in several types of fraud.

·         * Crash Report Center: Nationwide access to crash data, searchable by VIN, plate, and other filters, offers leads on vehicles-of-interest.

Each of these tools has aided agencies across North America in solving a variety of crimes including vehicle theft, narcotics offenses, organized crime, violent crime, missing person cases, and more. 

By including a direct link to Carfax for Police from the Fusus dashboard, investigators can make more informed decisions and act quickly, which is critical in the fight against crime.
