DOJ Provides More than $17 Million to LE Technology Centers

The Department of Justice's (DOJ) Office of Justice Programs (OJP) today announced that more than $17 million in Fiscal Year 2010 funding was awarded to seven Department of Justice Technology Centers of Excellence (COE). FBI Releases 2009 LEOKA Report

Law enforcement agencies identified 41 alleged assailants in connection with the 48 felonious line-of-duty deaths. Thirty-three of the assailants had prior criminal records, and 13 of the assailants were under judicial supervision at the time of the felonious incidents.
