Devallis Rutledge, a former police officer and veteran prosecutor, is Special Counsel to the Los Angeles County District Attorney. His latest book is “Criminal Investigations and Evidence.”

Sgt. Diana Drummey, of the Coronado (Calif.) Police Department, works on a variety of cases, such as DUI, suicide jumpers, property thefts and crimes of opportunity relating to Coronado's thriving tourist trade.

Sgt. Dina Zapalski is the public information officer for a Southern California department. As a sergeant, she has worked patrol, internal affairs. As a detective, she worked burglary, child abuse, backgrounds and DARE. She was also a SWAT crisis negotiator.
