Para-Ordnance Tac-Five LDA Pistol
There can be no denying that the most popular semi-automatic pistol of all time is John Moses Browning’s venerable Model 1911. The Evangelist
Dave Grossman is a man on a mission. By all rights, the retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and Ranger should be enjoying a life of leisure. Instead, Grossman spends most of his life on the road, traveling from town to town like a tent evangelist teaching law enforcement officers and military personnel about the psychological and physiological effects of combat and preaching a contemporary version of the warrior code.

Fighting with a Carbine
Old West sheriffs and marshals often carried a Colt .45 called the Peacemaker. But that .45 had the limitations of all handguns, so savvy Western lawmen also kept a short-barreled repeating rifle like a Winchester in their saddle bags. They knew that in a real gunfight, a carbine is the real “peace maker.”

Despite the howls of protest and dire predictions that continue to emanate from the traditionalists among us, I believe I am on firm ground when I state that polymer-frame pistols are not only here to stay, but will continue to capture an increasing share of the U.S. police market.
