The Harrison County (MS) Sheriff's Office has released video of a Jan. 15, 2021, incident at the county courthouse in Biloxi in which a deput killed a man attacking him with a knife.

The video appears to show suspect Reginald "RJ" Johnson charging Deputy Bobby Jackson with an object in his hand identified by investigators as a knife. The deputy's pistol is drawn and he falls to the ground.

The video then shows the suspect attacking the deputy on the pavement of the courthouse parking lot, and the deputy firing on the suspect.

Johnson died after the deputy shot him multiple times in the parking lot of the Harrison County courthouse in Biloxi. A grand jury reviewed the case last month and concluded the shooting was justified, the Sun-Herald reports.
