Three teens will be charged with attempted murder of a police officer for shooting at officers during a vehicle pursuit that took place early Wednesday morning.

According to NJ.com, six officers were injured during the chaotic chase that went through two New Jersey towns as the teens discharged firearms from their vehicle at pursuing squad cars.

The pursuit ended with a collision.

The incident injured a total of six officers—three remained hospitalized Wednesday evening.

One of those officers is in critical condition, according to the Trenton Police Department.

The teens were taken into custody and a number of firearms were recovered from the vehicle as well as the path of the pursuit.
