Pennsylvania Officer Responding to Domestic Dispute Assaulted by Subject

An officer with the Wilson Borough (PA) Police Department was struck in the head by a combative subject who was attempting to assault another man during a domestic incident.

An officer with the Wilson Borough (PA) Police Department was struck in the head Sunday night by a combative subject who was attempting to assault another man during a domestic incident, police report.

According to LehighValleyLive.com, police say the subject—identified as Xeane Germaine Allen—was attempting to strike an unidentified man as officers tried to restrain the assailant.

While trying to get a punch off over Officer James Siegfried, Allen's fist struck the officer in the left side of the head.

Allen now faces charges of aggravated assault on a police officer, assault, and harassment.

The condition of the officer was not released but police say he is expected to be okay.
