Police in Virginia successfully arrested a naked man suspected of murdering three people in Pittsylvania County on Tuesday.

Police in Virginia were caught on video chasing a naked man suspected of murdering three people in Pittsylvania County on Tuesday.

According to ABC News, police arrested 18-year-old Matthew Bernard in connection with three murders at a residence. A neighbor found one decedent outside and two others inside the home. Bernard faces three counts of first-degree murder.

According to the Washington Post, ESPN reported that the victims were the wife, son, and mother-in-law of Blake Bivens, a 24-year-old pitcher for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Class AA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

The video begins with the man and a single officer emerging onto a clearing where the officer attempted to subdue the subject with pepper spray and then a baton. The foot pursuit continued down a road where awaiting officers were able to apprehend the man.
