An eight-year old girl from Lebanon County (PA) visited three Philadelphia Police Department districts on Monday with the aim of delivering to them blue and black bracelets she made by hand to honor police officers.

According to CBS News, following the hours-long standoff late last week in Philadelphia, eight-year-old Kaylee Byers decided to make handmade wristbands for officers with the department.

Since last summer, Kaylee has been giving away handmade black-and-blue bracelets to police officers across the globe, making more than 1,800 of the gifts over the past several years and posting her support for law enforcement on Facebook.
