The Harrisonville Youth Football teams are playing in uniforms that are designed around the "Thin Blue Line."

John Baker—the president of the youth sports organization—said that the seventh grade team selected the design in honor of two of its coaches, one of whom is an active police officer and the other is retired from the profession.

The agency posted on Facebook, "Our Saturday gets even better. We learned that the Harrisonville Youth Football league wanted to incorporate the thin blue line into their uniforms this year to show support for local law enforcement. They look amazing and we're so thankful for the show of support! Best of luck this year boys!"
