President Donald Trump has announced his intent to nominate Kenneth Charles "Chuck" Canterbury Jr. to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Canterbury currently serves as president of the National Fraternal Order of Police, a position he has held since 2003.

Prior to his FOP leadership, Canterbury served with the Horry County (SC) Police Department. He retired as a major and served in the patrol division, criminal division, and training division.
