The United States Supreme Court has denied the lawsuit filed by five of six officers in the Freddie Gray case. The officers—who were all cleared of wrongdoing in the case—had filed suit against Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby for malicious prosecution.
According to WBFF-TV, the High Court agreed with a lower court ruling that Mosby has prosecutorial immunity in the case, declining to take up the appeal, and effectively ending the case in Mosby's favor.
Freddie Gray died in 2015, a week after suffering a spinal injury in a police van. Mosby charged six officers in his death and arrest. Three were acquitted and Mosby dropped the other cases.
