The Philadelphia Police Department's motorcycle drill teams headed to D.C. for National Police Week to honor the four Philly officers who were killed in the line of duty during 2008. While they were here, the Philadelphia Motorcyle Drill Team put on two demonstrations.

The 2024 pursuit-rated vehicles--all pickup trucks or SUVs, including two battery electric models the Chevrolet Blazer EV AWD and Ford Mustang Mach-E--were put through their paces.
The Chevrolet Blazer EV AWD is General Motors' first battery electric pursuit-rated vehicle. In the Michigan State Police testing it accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 5.17 seconds.
