Over 500 police chiefs, officers, and FBI agents from all over the country are in Grand Rapids, Mich., this weekend. It's all for the 38th National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).

The training conference, which is being held at DeVos Place, is about celebrating leadership, culture, community and diversity. The five-day conference includes special sessions to help educate officers and give them some unique crime fighting training.

John Dixon, a police chief and president of NOBLE, explained to WZZM-TV that this conference is about education and training. "We cannot arrest our way out of any problems," explains Dixon. "Sometimes we need to go in there and problem-solve, sometimes we need to go in there and change the perspective of the communities, and sometimes we need to go in and help change the perspective of the officers."
