Law Enforcement Associates, a surveillance and security technology company, has made its EDK123 explosives detection kit the size of a pack of gum so it’s easy for law enforcement personnel to carry. The kit is able to detect trace amounts of nitrates found in more than 85 percent of all explosives. It was developed for use at security checkpoints, nuclear facilities, water treatment plants, oil refineries, and military bases.
