Man Calls Police to Scene of His Crime

A man was arrested for apparent robbery after he called police himself.

It seems Jack Peterson, 24, of Plainville, Conn., was trying to divert attention from his attempt to rob a Dairy Mart by placing a 911 call telling police he was witnessing a robbery at another franchise of the fast food restaurant.

The name of the Dairy Mart franchise Peterson directed police to had recently been changed, so the cops showed up at the Dairy Mart Peterson called from. They handcuffed him and took him away.
